My husband says it is the best dessert he has ever had. It will blow the diet and budget out of the window. Only for special occasions.
The base is made with 6 egg whites gently mixed to white glaze before slowly adding 250g Caster Sugar and 100g Demerara Sugar, 1 tbsp Apple Cider vinegar and 1 tbsp Bicarbonate of Soda and 1 tsp Vanilla Extract. Mix till peaks form. Do not over mix else as the base will form cracks. Bake on a Baking Paper lined pan for 1 hour at 150 Deg Celsius. Let the base rest 2 - 3 hours before filling
The cream is dreamy. Mix One tub Creme Fraiche, One Can Condensed Milk, OneTub Mascarpone, One Tub Cream Cheese, 250ml Double Cream and 1 slab melted Milky Bar(Lindt). Mix it up till smooth. Place in Freezer for 1 hour to thicken not freeze.
The topping is apricots, blue berries, nuts heated in equal amounts of butter and honey. Let it simmer slowly. You can add good quality Brandy or any alcohol of choice
